Final buddy catch up

We had a lovely end of year buddy catch up today. We began by watching the film The Gruffalo and then worked with our buddy to recreate 3D models of the film. We also went to the Eco garden to collect some extra finishing touches. Have a look at what we created.

A big thank you to the amazing team who organised a surprise party yesterday afternoon. I was totally blown away by all the thoughtful little touches. P5a are wonderful!

Language Linking, Global Thinking

We enjoyed meeting Jenny last week as part of a new and exciting project called 'language linking, global thinking'. She is going to be working with the year group over the next year she she embarks on an exciting trip to Chile in South America. She will be living with a local family and working in a nearby school where she will be helping to teach English. This experience will allow her to further develop her own knowledge of the Spanish language and also give her the opportunity to learn about and experience the local cultures and traditions. As the year group move into p6 they will have regular catch ups with Jenny where they will be able to find out what she has been doing and ask her questions. Once Jenny returns she will come back to Sciennes to tell us even more about her time away.

We all had a lot of questions for Jenny about her upcoming travels!

We enjoyed our first of 3 tennis sessions at the Meadows Tennis Courts this morning. Everyone listened well, tried their best and improved their tennis skills. Well done!
