P4C Lip Dub

Over the past few weeks P4C have been working very hard to create a Lip Dub. A Lip Dub is a type of music video. We faced lots of challenges while filming. It is filmed in one take so we had to try and not make any mistakes. We had to be in the video more than once so we had to get from one location to the next without being seen on camera! Timing was the key and we had to make sure we were lip singing to the correct part of the song - the music was put in later!

We developed so many skills whilst working on our Lip Dub which aimed to focus of Health and Wellbeing. We developed our team working skills, cooperation, problem solving and most importantly we had fun! And of course our end product shows just how well everyone worked together...Enjoy!

Well Done, Sophia!

Great enterprise and initiative from P4 pupil Sophia, and a fabulous amount of reading! Thank you, Sophia!

This weekend Sophia Walker (P4A) participated in a 24 hour Readathon to raise money for the Sciennes Playground Redevelopment. During that time she read 382 pages. We have pledged 10p for every page read, and have donated 38.20 to FSS on her behalf. We've also set up a MyDonate page for her. https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/sophiawalkerp4a

Easter Fun in P4B

P4B enjoyed a little trip to the Sciennes kitchen yesterday where we made some delicious Easter nests.

It was a great opportunity to practise some of our new maths skills:
- we were dividing out the ingredients
- splitting the chocolate and the mixture into different fractions
- measuring out water for boiling

I'm sure you'll agree- Masterchefs in the making!!

After our trip to the kitchen we came back for a little egg decorating. Which one is your favourite?

We voted for this one by Camille Roquillas-Reid who made her very own Toothless.
