New town houses

P5a have created amazing drawings of Georgian houses. They paid particular attention to making sure their drawings were symmetrical, a key feature of Georgain architecture.

Fun and games

I was SO impressed with the effort you all made to create amazing games to help us with our Spanish. We all enjoyed playing and sharing our games this afternoon.

Buddy Golden Time

We enjoyed sharing golden time with our p2 buddies yesterday.

Janis Mackay Visit

We were so excited when Janis Macaky came to visit last week. We enjoyed hearing all about her new book 'Wild Song' and were set the task of creating our own stories. We created drawings of our story settings and shared our final stories with others. They were all fantastic!

Creating City Improvement Acts

Having learned about the serious deterioration of the Old town we created out own City Impovement Acts based on those written in 1867.  We then presented out ideas to the rest of the class.

P5a visit the Georgian House

Despite a soggy start p5a had a fantastic visit to the Georgian House on Charlotte Square today. We got dressed up in traditional clothing and were given fantastic tours round the building. We can see the huge differences between life in the old and new town.

Still smiling despite the rain!

Can you spot some of our parent helpers too?!

And a much drier walk back, phew!
