Ukulele fun

We began our ukulele lessons on Tuesday. We have already learned a few chords and even managed a couple of songs! I think there might be a few future ukulele stars in p5a!

Golden Time

Well done to Sam, Iain and Alejandro for organising a fun filled golden time today. We had lots of fun playing circle games.

A B C music

P5a enjoyed a visit from a specialist from ABC music on Monday. We played a variety of movement and music games and everyone was really keen to keep it up during the week. 

Super cycling

Well done to Ali for winning this cycling trophy during a competition at the weekend. Keep it up! 

Chess success

Congratulations to Brin for a super effort in a chess competition at the weekend coming 2nd place, fantastic! 

Taking the lead

Well done to Stewart, Christopher and Mylo for organising a brilliant golden time in the ICT suite for p5a. Lots of fun was had!

HopscotchTheatre Visit

We started off this morning with a fantastic performance from the Hopscotch Theatre Company. The performance was telling the story of the life of Robert Burns. What a super way to end our Scotland focus. 

Scotland Week

We began the new term learning all about what life would have been like living on a highland croft. We created these beautiful mixed-media images using oil-pastels, paints and material.

P5a - Rainforest Adventure

What a fab start to our Rainforest project today!  We visited the glasshouses at the Botanics and used our senses to explore some of the amazing plants that would be found in tropical and temperate rainforests. Here is a quick snapshot of what we got up to!
