Big congratulations to Delphie and Maisie  for both doing so well in their tap exam last month. Fantastic results! 

Sports Day

We were so glad the sun was shining for sports day this morning. Lots of fun had by all!

Fun in the sun

We made the most of the beautiful weather today in p5a. We spent our PE lesson on the Meadows playing rounders and then worked in teams to complete a maths challenge in the playground using or knowledge of measure and fractions. What a lovely day! 

Writing Challenge

When Janis Mackay came to visit a few weeks ago she set us a challenge to write a story set in the future. This morning we set about creating our own stories and then shared them in partners. I don't think p5a have ever been so quiet during a task ever! They all had so many great ideas. 

Fraction Fun!

We took our fraction learning to the playground this morning. We worked in teams to find out the fraction on a whole amount using stones from the jumping wall area and recorded our answers with chalk. Great team work everyone!
