4B- Death in Ancient Egypt

Primary 4 enjoyed a very informative trip to the National Museum on Chambers Street where we learned all about 'Death in Ancient Egypt'.

A big thank you to Caspar who posed as our Pharaoh for the day.

This is Ammit the Devourer who sat beside the scales of Ma'at ready to consume the souls of anyone deemed unworthy.

At the museum we were able to look at many artefacts found in the tombs of Ancient Egyptians. We had to follow the clues to identify who the mummy could be.
